National Pet Wellness
A happy, healthy pet starts with a plan. This program has three steps:
1) Twice-a-year wellness exams. Pets age seven times faster, on average, than people. These exams allow your veterinarian to diagnose and treat any health problems before they become serious. They also provide you with the opportunity to ask questions related to your pet's health and well-being.
2) Disease prevention. Your veterinarian will conduct a risk assessment to determine your pet's exposure to various diseases. Working with your veterinarian, you will be able to develop an individualized wellness and vaccination plan to protect your pet from disease threats.
3) Pet health insurance. Discuss with your veterinarian about the insurance plans and coverages that are available for your pet.
Saying Good-bye
Dr. Julie Sowa is leaving our practice after five years of dedicated and compassionate care to our patients. She and her family are moving to the Yakima area where Dr. Sowa will be working in an emergency clinic as well as starting her own integrative medicine practice. We will miss Dr. Sowa and wish her the best of luck in her new endeavors.
Pet Portals
We are excited to announce that on our website you are able to view your pet's health information, request an appointment, request prescription refills, provide updates including photos for your pet's medical record and ask questions of the staff through our "Pet Mail" mailbox. Once you establish your Pet Portal account you will have access to all of these new services. All you need is an e-mail address and your own password to have access to this secure site. By establishing your own Pet Portal you will also be able to receive quarterly pet health newsletters as well as receive vaccination and other reminders via e-mail.
