Veterinarians
Andrew Stang , DVM
| Dr. Stang graduated from the University of California-Davis in 1973 and has been with us since 1974. He is especially interested in large animal medicine, and enjoys upland game bird hunting in his spare time. |

Daniel Haskins , DVM | Dr. Haskins is a 1978 graduate of Washington State University. He and his wife, Linda, have lived in Stanwood since graduation from veterinary school and have raised their 4 children on a small farm in the Cedarhome area. Dr. Haskins' primary interests lie in the large animal area of the practice where he devotes his time to horses, alpacas, cows, and the occasional pig. His outside interests include woodworking, antique cars, grandkids, and travel. Recently, he has traveled on mission trips to Brazil, Belarus, Haiti, and Kenya. |  View |
Bruce Collins , DVM
| Dr. Collins attended both Oregon State University and Washington State University, graduating in 1983. He joined our staff in July of 1986. Dr. Collins specializes in equine medicine and surgery. |

Steve Boskovich , DVM

Dr. Boskovich graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1981.
He has been a staff veterinarian since November of 1987. He strives to provide the best possible health care for your pets. He enjoys exploring health care options and the celebrates the relationship between people and their pets.
In his spare time, Dr. Boskovich enjoys spending time with his family and friends, cooking and eating many different ethnic foods, windsurfing, sailing, running, skiing, biking, hiking, etc. |

Tim Cuchna , DVM

Dr. Cuchna graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989, and has worked in the Northwest Veterinary Clinic since 1990. He is especially interested in dairy production medicine and has obtained specialized training in the field of dairy health medicine from the University of Wisconsin.
Dr. Cuchna enjoys attending his childrens' sports activities, hiking, cycling, and gardening in his spare time. |

Cambria Hurliman , DVM
Dr. Hurlimann graduated from Washington State University in 1997. She joined our staff in July of 2006 as a relief veterinarian. She is now a permanent valued member of our team. Dr. Hurlimann's enjoys spending time with her family. She also likes to travel, scrapbook and attend sports events. |

Technician Staff
Belinda Bernard , LVT
| Belinda joined the Stanwood staff in August 2003. She has been working since 1983 as an Animal Health Technician and Veterinary Technician. She graduated from college in 1983 as a Licensed Veterinary Technician and an Animal Health Technician.
Belinda is a backyard birder, avid gardener and collector of plants. She also enjoys home canning, quilting, cross stitching, and fishing. Her include a Scottish Terrier (Scotty), Cairn Terrier (Riley), lab rat (Ollie), and 2 cats (Simon & Talon) |

Robin Oxborough
| Robin has been on staff since 1997. She has many talents and is able to fill different roles whenever needed. Outside of the clinic, Robin enjoys riding her horses. |

Lisa Cantu
| Lisa joined our staff in September 2006. She also works part time at a local pet emergency clinic. Lisa has a special interest in marine fish and radiology. In her spare time Lisa enjoys her hobbies of stamp collecting, fishing, and riding her motorcycle. |

Amber Whelchel , LVT

Amber joined the Stanwood staff in September 2008. She is a 2000 graduate from Washington State University with a degree in Biology.
Amber enjoys rock climbing, paintball, cars and showing cars. Her pets include 2 pit bulls, 1 Chihuahua and a cat.
Why do I want to work at a veterinary clinic? "I had been around animals since I was young and had participated in 4-H and FFA. I knew that I wanted a career that involved animals."

Jennifer Jones , LVT Jennifer started in June 2009. Her work experience before coming to us was at a veterinary surgical specialty hospital.
She has two indoor cats named Jade and Zeus. Her hobbies include fishing, camping, hiking, boating and kickboxing.
Why did I want to work at a veterinary clinic? Since the third grade all I wanted to do was help animals. Most of my experience is in emergency and surgery. I find it very fulfilling to know that at the end of the day I have improved the lives of animals and helped owners better understand the needs of their furry friends. |  View |
Reception Staff
Camda Nesje
| Camda joined the Stanwood staff in April 1977. She is not only a receptionist for the clinic, but also is a licensed Veterinary Medication Clerk.
Camda enjoys homeschooling her youngest child when at home, as well as baking, cooking, and spending time with the entire family. Her pets include 2 cats and 3 dogs.
Why do I want to work at a veterinary clinic? "I grew up on a small farm. I was surrounded by a variety of animals. I learned to love and care for them all. By working at NWVC, I am fortunate to be part of a team where we get to love and care for animals each day we come to work."

Vicki Powers-Stiles
| Vicki joined the Stanwood staff in September 1993. Along with her duties as a receptionist, she also has special training as a Veterinary Medical Clerk, with an interest in canine reproduction.
In her spare time she enjoys black & white photography, dog shows (she breeds and shows Chihuahuas), and lighthouses. Her pets include a few Chihuahuas.
Why do I want to work at a veterinary clinic? "Besides the obvious (loving animals), as a client here I was impressed with the clinic staff and doctors. I thought it would be a great place to work, and it is!"

Wanda Sternberg
Wanda joined the Stanwood staff in March 1997. As well as being a receptionist, she is also a licensed Veterinary Medication Clerk and in charge of large animal pharmacy ordering. She also has a special interest in animal behavior. Wanda enjoys spending time with her family, horseback riding, knitting, arts & crafts and hiking. Her pets include 3 dogs, 3 cats, 1 horse, and an African Grey.
Why do I want to work at a veterinary clinic? "I think I share my dad's love of animals. We always had a variety on the game farm where I grew up. My childhood goal was to become a veterinarian, however my adult life career path took me into customer service. Here I get to be involved with customer service and the animals I love at the same time!"

Cathe Dunne-Mott Cathe joined the Stanwood staff in February 2006. She brings with her many skills
acquired while working for the Arlington School District for the past several years.
Cathe enjoys playing with her grandson, being with her own kids, taking
care of her animals, and raising money to help animals and people.
Her pets include 3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 horses and a dove.Why

Darla Bunnard | Darla joined the Stanwood staff in June 2007, shortly after moving to
this area from Oregon where she had worked as a receptionist at another
mixed animal practice for 10 years. She has stepped right in and been
extremely capable from the start. Darla enjoys horseback riding, gardening, reading, decorating and
spending time with her family. Her pets include 1 dog, 4 cats, and
2 horses

Rachel Trippel
Rachel joined the Stanwood staff in July 2008 to help us out in the increasingly busy reception area.
Rachel enjoys ministry, missions, travel, theology, and public speaking. Her pets include 2 cats and a Chihuahua (Princess).
Why do I want to work at a veterinary clinic? "I have always had a general love and admiration for both people and animals, so working at a veterinary clinic only seemed natural. Working here at NWVC has been a great joy due to all of the skillful and positive people I work with every day."

Kennel Staff
Skylar Block Skylar is a student at Stanwood High School and the daughter of Susanne Block, LVT and Dr. Boskovich. She works after school and weekends in support of the veterinary technicians.
